SUMMING UP FROM TUESDAY-WEDNESDAY!
i basically do not really remember what i did during this time period.
i'm becoming an old lady just like DAWN KOH.
just the hints of the days.
this would have to be on tuesday.
we had radio on that day.
and i found that i got a f-ing F for my comercial script.
which by the way was a f-ing disaster.
very big disaster
words of Felix Tan : "MY GOD, YOU HAVE RANGING GRADES".
wow.

then i ended up going with dinesh in his dad's lorry.
we had to go to loyang to pass like a crate or something like that
then we left to changi to collect something.
this was a freaking cute mummy cat that dinesh spotted
it's like pregnant
and dinesh found it disgusting.

-I THINK ITS ADORABLE-
it was pretty interesting travelling with dinesh and his dad
i ended up doing my phonetics journal in the lorry also
coming up with all the lame ass words and trying to make it seem like people would mispronounce it.
i think dinesh nearly wanted to spank me because i was getting on his nerves with the phonetics journal
muahahahaha
then his dad brought us to Changi to eat.
it seemed like "meeting the in-laws", like DAWN KOH has generously put.
it was rather amusing.
dinesh's dad brought us to Changi to eat nasi lemak from a famous place.
the dad treated me to a late lunch early dinner meal.
was so sweet.
:) then he sent me home. haha
wednesday/thursday/friday - was trying to complete writcomm outline, phonetics journal
saturday:
huhhhh.
THE DAY. there was a function in my house on that day.
something for my sister. to kind of show that she's an adult/woman now.
pretty awesome because we get to have jewellery and cash.
lots of it.
i invited dawn and nesha to the function
i swear if it were not for them
i would have died during the function.
i hate this types of function
to actually sort of sum it up
i am not on a close par with my relatives.
plus i do not really like dressing up with all that make-up and jewellery.

i swear if my mum had allowed me, i would have just worn my punjabi suit
basic make-up and be done with it.
but dawn and nesha. made the whole function worth while.
they just kept giving me energy.

furthermore, being the elder sister. i had like tons of things to do.
make sure people had drinks.
had been given the traditional sugar rock and dates.
women and gals be given jasmine flowers to put on their heads.
make sure the elderly had seats.
but of course. i had to also be dashingly sweet and had to always have a smile.
IRRITATING.
-but no choice-

but as said. if my friends were not there.
i would been totally bummed within an hour of the whole thing.
we had a professional make-up artist to do up my sister into a freaky doll.
she turned to look way mature then expected.
she even looked older then me.
which is of course a heart pain.
but she still looked real pretty though.

i also found out a freaky thing that day.
i realised when a family has any daughters,
people compare
even with their own kids.
i mean. damn u people! stop comparing.
sighhhh. the indian customs and traditions.

DAWN KOH was the official photographer during the function
but the worse thing happened,
and my worse nightmare came alive.
her sony digital camera started vibrating and she had no choice but to use my casio digital camera.
which is of course lame ass. my camera sucks big time
i hate it!
her camera suddenly started vibrating and the function had not even officially started.
pretty sad.

i even got my uncles to take a look at the camera.
but they could not figure out also.
but she ended up taking about 100 pictures in her camera
100 in mine and another 36 in a SLR -very old- camera.

which was pretty much alot.
even right now.
i just picked out some at random,
so many.

then my sister's friend June, brought her INDIAN boyfriend along.
-notice that i highlighted the word INDIAN in caps-
i bet the whole house knew very well who he was.
he ended up standing outside the whole while.
which was pretty sad also, because the men in my family, were giving the 'one kind' look.
but it was still pretty funny.

then we headed down for dinner.
my dad and mum had ordered vegetarian food.
indian spicy vegetarian food.
even though i precisely told my parents that DAWN KOH cannot eat spicy food.
that poor gal had to eat spicy food.
she was freaking flushed from the whole the food experience.

and plus also considering that she was the only chinese gal in the whole house.
also made her feel even more uncomfortable.
furthermore, i had her to do a dress change in my house
because my dad was not happy with a simple plain black dress with red belt.
TRADITIONAL INDIAN MEN! sighhhhhh
and she ended up getting wet when she was coming to my house
due to the freaking heavy downpour, she got her very expensive betulas wet!
and
also caused everyone to come in, an hour late then the usual time of coming in late.
poor gal.
she went through so much.

the dinner was pretty fun
because we got to talk
and everyone sat together
and together meaning the friends and us.
not including the family
"the family" was pretty much separated.
hizzzzz, people people.

plus i got to force people to eat more
which was also pretty fun.
especially my sister's friend's INDIAN boyfriend.
i just kept stuffing him with food!
but the sickening thing was that i still had to run around.
i had to run around and make sure that people got the door gift and had their meals
and run back to the house and get containers to pack food home.
which is also pretty much a traditional thing in my family.
but the food was pretty good.

the funny thing throughout the whole experience i realised that
i am addicted to my friends' energy.
i just absorb on it
and i get freaky hyper.
which is of course adorable and pretty useful.

and also i must say that my sister's function
was pretty much more grand and more expensive then mine
she got to wear 2 very expensive sequined red sarees!
and got a professional down to do her make-up
whereas, i had my mum pick out for me a pretty plain not-so-expensive sari, only one
and make-up was done by my mum.

the best part i figure, was when everyone was pretty much surprised to see me
with the short do
make-up
no specs
in red!
aint that bad.

the thing ended around 10pm.
well it sort of ended around 11pm.
by the time everyone left
with the packed food and extra collection of door gifts.

then it was down to tidying the once-very-neat-white-house.
which was horrendous.
because my mum and i were the only ones cleaning the house.

then after that, we went to sleep after somewhat cleaning the house.
then i ended up waking up, feeling the need to puke badly.
the best part, i did not even get to eat properly the day before.
for the whole day.
so pretty much ate nothing except for a few spoons of rice with some vege mutton and curry.
and of course kinder bueno, bought by DAWN KOH.

i ended up puking my guts out at 10am.
then slept all the way till 2pm.
then went to Vivo.
did abit of shopping while still suffering the effects of food poisoning.

i was freaking worried about the rest whether they would get food poisioning!

sighhh.
i loved the function
but i kind of wished that dawn's camera did not start vibrating.
and that i did not get food poisoning.
monday:
ended up going to school for a 15 minute writcomm consultation
and found out that my essay outline had to be re-done!
but i ended up going to school 2 hours early for IAC project discussion
which turned out disastrous. because we did nothing productive
then i went to vivo with DAWN KOH!
printed out pictures from saturday.
then dropped my damn macbook and popped up the side.
a slight bit
still survived.
then met my mum. HOME SWEET HOME!
tuesday:
DAY OF WONDERMENT!
i went out with DAWN KOH AGAIN!
we went to Toni and Guy Academy this time
dawn got her hair highlighted and i had my haircut
we had a pretty awesome time in the salon
we made friends with dawn's hairdresser.
found out that i had no patience for tearing aluminium foil.
DAWN KOH'S partial highlighting turned out really good
really really good.
which made me real jealous on the inside of course.
she freaking looked like a ABC. ang-mo-ish look going on.
that gurl has a good instinct with colors.
real good choice!
then my haircut turned out to be pretty sane.
almost the same do as before, but just shorter and more bob like
but with a curly hair. kept the front part same length, back shorter.
pretty okay.
then went to the library to borrow some books. and now, i'm addicted to reading.
then we walked to Cityhall.
saw nesha' vasantham star crushie! vicnesh i thing. i couldn't help but thing that she would have freaked if she was there.
then walked around and i found a 36 bucks denim skirt in Dorothy Perkins.
which of course i'm going back with Dawn to get it!
ate Ben n Jerry's mix and match. oooooo.
the feeling. wow.
we felt so happy that day.
DAWN KOH WAS SO HAPPY THAT DAY.
she rubbed some of it on me.
and i felt damn excited and happy.
like dawn put it : "YOU DAMN WEIRD REVATHIE, DAMN WEIRD".
next mission: convince my mum to let me highlight my hair.
dawn koh is also going to help me. :)
wednesday:
went to school with DAWN KOH again.
haha. we have been like meeting non-stop.
went to the library to do research for our writcomm assignment.
we ended up staying there not too long.
she photocopied her stuff, i borrowed and lugged my books back home.
pathetic state.
then met up with Lyna to get my cake tin and i ended up in Coffeebean.
i ordered belgian chocolate ice blended with whipped cream, and she ordered a freaky awesome chocolate cake slice!
and we started talking.
all the way from 4.50pm to 6.40pm.
wow. it was like having a long talk with a long-lost friend.
man do i miss her!
i was making her laugh
and telling her long tales about my life in Ngee ann
and people there
and the stupid things that i do there.
and she told me about her course in NYP
which is almost the same as mass comm.
then she found some intimidating details about her future. :)
and she also found out that i was suppose to be in Singapore Poly. business admin!
she could not freaking stop laughing.
she was like " I CAN NEVER SEE U IN BA!"
it was damn fun talking to her,
we bitched, gossiped, talked!
she's still the damn sweet awesome girl that i remember.
just more twigged now.
sshhhhh.
ONE ORDER FOR BAKED OREO CHEESECAKE AND RICH CHOCOLATE MUD CAKE
COMING RIGHT UP!
plus i'm knitting.
